Beta Update


Hey everyone, this is the games level designer and former artist, Rain!

After a short break, Blooeys Path has received a Beta Update!

You may notice some italicized changes, these are changes recommended by players who have given us feedback! We read your comments and suggestions, so please give us your feedback!

Update Changelog:

What's new:

  • Objectives/Stars system added (Introduced on day 3)
  • Objectives/Stars added in most levels
  • All levels have names
  • A way better tutorial
  • 2 new days/levels (11 and 12)

Changes:

  • The background is now actually infinte and works on ANY screen size
  • The day and night cycle now stays the same time between
  • Music stays the same between levels (including night time music)
  • More torches have been added to some levels
  • The pause menus layout has been changed to fit the objectives
  • Pause menu now has a retry button
  •  Enemies idle noise now have randomized starts
  • The win screen now has a retry button
  • Some levels have been modified a tiny bit
  • The block you have selected is now highlighted at the top
  • Credits menu text has been updated and now has no hyperlinks
  • Spike hitboxes are more generous
  • Player movement is now less slippery and a bit slower
  •  Tile preview telling you where you can place a tile added
  • Cloud generator now works with ANY screen size
  • Probably something else that we forgot about...

We also had some behind the scene changes that should help us pump out content faster! So be on the lookout for new updates and changes!
